Just to clarify, royal mail post office set a deadline of 31 January 2023 and extended it with a six month grace period. But they are still allowing customers to swap out stamps as of May 2024 and I’d expect them to continue for the foreseeable future.
Whilst the old red and blue 1st and 2nd class stamps can’t be used and must be swapped out, Special Stamps with pictures on and Christmas Stamps without a barcode will continue to be valid and don't need to be swapped out.
